Research interest

The Caskin scaffold proteins are newly described members of the postsynaptic protein network that have recently been shown to be essential for the formation of proper memory traces and synapse development. However, little is known about how Caskin1 exerts its postsynaptic functions. Our aim is to understand the consequences that may occur due to the absence or abnormal function of this novel postsynaptic scaffold protein.
